[2.1.0] The New Apache/Super Hokum Rockets are kinda OP.
Initially I thought they were good changes, but then I played with it and against it.
Each 127mm Rocket is basically the equivalent of a Recoilless now. (Slightly less, so as to not one shot aircraft)
That means...
Just two rockets are needed to kill an enemy Heli. Only 1 Rocket is needed to put a Jet into critical HP, allowing the Pilot to switch to the gunner seat and only need to land 1 shot to kill the Jet.
Hot seat switching needs to be punished.
The HUD should show a "System Booting Prompt" and prevent people using the guns or something to prevent people from Hot Seat Switching between Pilot and Gunner. Sure you can argue, that this should be allowed but imo, it doesn't lend well at all to vehicle flow in 2042.
The Heli also camps the sky ceiling far better now because the gunner still has crazy accuracy but now with the extra damage to farm infantry.
The recent nerf to the Jet's 25mm Cannon shows... Imo, that nerf should be reverted as Jets struggle vs these new Apache Rockets, more so if the Apache has a gunner, since the gunner is still pin point accurate at distance.
Furthermore and Unrelated to the Rockets or Gunner of the Apache/Super Hokum, why is it that these Helis can aim vertically without feeling the effects of gravity? Are the rotors on these Helis powered by the same engine that powers the Condor? Anti-Gravity Engines? The Super Hind is also guilty of this. I hope, that the next BF will have vehicles with far more "realistic" physics and less of the "training wheels" that 2042 has.
