2042 could be ok
I created an EA account specifically to post my thoughts on 2042, so I dunno how any of this works or where this goes but I gotta say something about it somewhere. Aight. I could live with the impo...
For the best analogy on the M5 in an anti-armor role, it’s like bringing a .380 purse gun on a hike as your bear gun. Sure, eventually after having three mags of the round frantically dumped into its skull, the grizzly will die. But the moment you pull the trigger on that first shot you’ve done nothing but * it off, and the whole time that you’re getting mauled by natures furry tank, you’re wishing you’d brought a .44 magnum. The key to survival against a tank, furry or otherwise, is ending the fight quickly. I understand that the player in the vehicle needs a fighting chance to make it somewhat enjoyable, but as the game stands now, the tank is a pissed off grizzly, and the poor sap running for cover with his empty M5 is about to get shredded.
It shouldn't take more than 3 rockets to kill a tank. 2 rear hits should take a tank down. 1 unguided rocket hit to take down aircraft. 2 rockets for armored ground transports.
How many rockets does it currently take to kill a tank? 5 rockets?
I'd imagined more advanced weapons will become available as the seasons roll through.... whether we are just given them, need to grind for them or pay for them has yet to be seen. If that is true the season 1 delay is a bit frustrating and wont do much to improve the tension between EA and players will it?
