Probably .01 percent of those sales are the ones on these forums hating on the game while the other percentage of people are actually playing the game.
- @BizzyVaping I think we have to also remember that Battlefield wasn't the mass commercial success before say Bad Co 2 or BF3. The old games were PC only, and while they did sell very well, were not blockbuster sellers as I recall.
Now if say they remade BF2 in the current frostbite engine? With the popularity of the series today? They'd smash that week 1 sales record guaranteed. - @CantGetRight yes and no. At least on Playstation, the trophy stats indicate a rather large dropoff between those with the level 15 trophy and those with the level 25 trophy. Down by 50% as I recall.
Well we know that the marketing for 2042 was much better than that of 5. I remember the announcement trailer had many people hyped
- @rippedwire01 Good point. The marketing hyped the fans up so well that BF4 showed a massive spike in player count last summer.
those week 1 sales won't make up for the billions lost in EA overall stock value, within the past 18 days
- @BizzyVaping * goes a long way for the cod idiots
@BizzyVaping4.3 million is next to nothing in today's gaming. BF3 sold 5 million in its first week then about 15 or so million.
and besides, that's not counting the refunds and there have been more 2042 refunds than any other title esp when there's a play trial alsoLMAO, disturbing figures, if it even is true… doubt that… they byeers will def. regret the purchase!
For the ones hating on the game why the * are you still here hating on the game. Say your peace and be gone.
