Probably .01 percent of those sales are the ones on these forums hating on the game while the other percentage of people are actually playing the game.

wish there was a representative statistic, how many of the buyers are happy or not happy with the purchase....that would be devastating im sure

@zbran1yes it is actuallyIt's a small fraction of people who own the game so no it isn't. Look at the Cyberpunk stats after all the complaining about that game only a tiny fraction of people got a refund even though anyone who purchased was entitled to one.

No matter what some may claim or not...
The factual very rapid decline on Steam players on BF2042 does not look good at all:

EA may have made a quick and easy buck on pre-order sales. But if the players do not stay around for long, then the whole business model with MTX season passes and skins is stillborn. And the total BF2042 license sales will over time never reach the ROI targets set for this game. Poor quality and product contents at launch does have consequences.

@CyberDymeSteam numbers alone doesn't say much though considering the game is out on 5 stores and I would imagine that besides maybe Epic gamestore, steam is likely the store with the lowest playerbase.
Im sure all platforms have seen a drop, but until actual numbers are released its pure speculation and really not that interesting tbh- 4 years ago

A lot of these players that are not playing don't automatically not enjoy the game, it just means they are not online playing all the time...
