2042 is a hero shooter nobody asked for in Battlefield and sadly EA thinks it's the future of the series. So if it's not a 'Battlefield' game now, it will be later
I like the specialists much better than the traditional one sided class system. It's about time Medics get to carry rocket launchers. I hated playing medic in BFV because their weapons were only useful in close combat so making it through an open space to revive a mate was suicide. I don't like the fact of waiting for someone to decide to be ammo guy so I wish there were ammo stations on the maps.
I think Dice / EA need to do better at rewarding good squad play. A good squad in 2042 can do a ton of damage with the right specialists.
@LS5_71 I beg to differ, with the right guys/classes with the right perks a squad in BF4 can demolish enemy even better than the superhero in 2042. The bonus in that would be immersion and diversity, not 4 clowns in a xmas suit running around. 😉
@Trokey66 no, you cant run around looking like a russian clown in BF3 or BF4 😉
