3-D Spotting returning?
I'm personally not a fan of the 3-D spotting but it sounds like it may be making a comeback.

Better just to wait and see how it's implemented before getting too worked up I would say.
@Ironhead841 Even money says it will be first too strong, but we’ll have to live with it for the season. They they’ll nerf it to the point of uselessness and we’ll have to live with it for that last season. Then, even though they’ve said there’s more to come… there won’t be any more fixes.
Portal allows for 3d spotting and, honestly, it wasn't nearly as bad as I remember. I'm quite looking forward to seeing how this'll work in an official capacity
I don't like the dorito-shooting of BF1/BF4/BF3.
In general this game has way too much spotting, making spotting easier is not really a good thing.
I hope they remove spot when shooting (or decreases time on minimap to ½ a second). BF1 didn't have audio spot and that worked fine.
- @cso7777 Bf1 had that interesting indicator that showed the quarter of the minimap that the shot sound came from
