3-D Spotting returning?
I'm personally not a fan of the 3-D spotting but it sounds like it may be making a comeback.

I like manual 3D spotting but dislike automatic minimap spotting after shooting. We also need stealth perks to counteract sensor balls and UAV scans.
3D spotting as a feature might not be a bad thing although I personally hate it. The issue I guess with 2042 is that there are just way way way too many options for spotting players even includes auto spotting when aiming close or near enemies, long are the days of hiding in a bush or cover...... Combine this with more players in smaller fighting spaces and much more open much with clear views there is just spotting going on constantly.
I feel the red chemlights are often more then enough to spot your enemies when it comes to bad visibility in modern games, I think it's more then fine in 2042 and doesn't need 3D spotting for that reason.
