32v32 is still a lot of players...
idk why people on ps4/xone are concerned... bf1 and bf5 look good on consoles and the maps are big... so 64 players will still feel "full"........

Smaller maps, 64 players because Old-Gens can't handle more.. BATTLEFIELD 2042 Is on another level with huge maps and with 128 players so logicaly only Next-Gens and PC can handle it.
DICE can't just copy and paste it but in worse graphics for Old-Gen.. Old-Gens has some limits and they can't handle more assets/players...🙂

What would be cool for old gen consoles is instead of simply scaling maps down is to make a couple of maps out of the larger maps, effectively doubling the number of maps on offer with minimal work.
