4.0 update is like going from alpha to now beta
The game has just hit beta, with another year of beta updates adding in all the missing features, it will be ready for release.

- @DrunkwoIf It's a little deceiving calling this update 4.0, normally we'd get more significant content drops, further qol changes at this stage of the game's life.

At least according to the patch notes page it's version 0.4.0 so pretty close lol

did they improve performance for 128 players and weaker CPUs?
I played 128p just now. It runs more or less the same as previous patches. The 64p modes played much better in the past, and I would say its a bit smoother after 0.4 update. I will also note, I think they changed the rendering on the Tornado. It didn't look as good to me, maybe I'm crazy. But the performance dip was a lot less that previously which is nice. Still feel like the Tornado is underwhelming in its gameplay design. More of an annoyance but besides the point.
