@AOD_CapStar362 I don’t get the door thing either, so what’s the point of locking them? It was a legit tactic for defenders.
I’d also like to see the EOD bot used as a forklift or as an attack bot carrying a sentry gun. Would it fire!? Dang that would be hilarious.

Lots of nurf's this round, hopefully they bring much needed balance to the game. Time will tell.
- I_DYN4MO_I3 years agoSeasoned Ace@ATFGunr Yeah the door thing is a mystery to me also. I liked them the way they were. There was plenty of counters to it too like emp's, hacks, C4, Paik snapshots and forced entry etc etc.
Leave the doors alone! - 3 years ago
For the doors I think the key phrase is "previously controlled".
I don't think this is a full removal of the mechanic.
Though personally I hated that jamming gimmick and would love to see it removed completely.
- AOD_CapStar3623 years agoSeasoned Ace@AngrySquid270 why? If the door is set to enemy control, it would be locked, requiring forcible entry, whether that is by breaching a wall somewhere else, or EMP'ing the door itself flinging it wide open.... that's what it means, or DICE is using some very confusing language here.
If the door is PREVIOUSLY controlled, that means SOMEONE toggled it to the ENEMY TEAM. to me, that very clearly says they are removing the "lock" mechanic and making doors free for all.

That one about the EOD bot cracked me up when I read it. I wish I'd seen it too.
Not too sure about the door change as it negates controlling them.
Edit: Previously controlled, as pointed out above, makes more sense.
