4 ARs?!??

I see this complaint at every BF release about how many weapons are available. IMO, having 22 well balanced weapons is far better than 50 weapons that all do the same thing. Sorry but the game doesn't need several variants of the same gun since they implemented the plus system that allows you create those variants.

Secondly, I have no doubt more weapons are coming when they release content or maybe they are available by progression, we'll have to wait and see. Finally, when you have a large assortment of weapons to choose from, most generally don't get used as players tend to stick with the "meta" weapons. 

I don’t wish to get into a argument but based on BF4.  Yea, yea I did spend money on this game with the expectations it would have the same sized weapons list.

Portal could have a huge weapons list but quite frankly what will Portal be like…. Where as now I can get on the servers and figure out some level of consistency. With Portal will there be a option solely for BF3 (traditional) style hardcore. 

Or will it be all over the place.

Never had a problem with all the BF4 weapon balance and there were a lot more then this…..

I remember DMR being complained about and I think some shotguns. C4 spam. But it never bothered me. 

I started out running the ACR but transitioned through a lot overtime. My biggest complaint with BF4 was the “rubber-banding lag”.

Also based on the beta unless they’ve buffed it. I would NEVER call the DM7 in this game a meta weapon. One step above a cave club……Maybe.
