4 man squads is to small

There are five of us sometimes six that want to play together and this is the problem we all have collectively. These same people have played all other Battlefields before this one and were able to play in a six man squad. I personally would rather have unlimited or a cap of twelve or fifteen which the latter is what I recall when I was in the service. CoD sux and I don't want us to revert back to playing it all ever again but this issue just may have that effect. I find this is a serious issue because we all want to play together.

  • @AK_RaistlinI agree. I served with the 101st for 6yrs...a squad is usually 8 soldiers for 2 teams and an e6 as a squad leader. 4 soldiers is not a squad but a team within a squad. There are 2 teams within a squad. 3 squads plus a weapons squad makes up a platoon.

  • Is small considering the size of the teams now.

    Should be 6 min

  • Even if you could, the next round everyone will be sent to different servers. It's a really poor server system and it's so random on what servers they will send you to.

  • I would love for official support for larger groups or a way for groups of 4 to match together easier. In BFV we would daisy chain in by splitting our party up in the game after the first group match made in and then joining on the new split. However, this requires people into be in a queue, and with us being tossed to a new match-making queue after every round would annoying.

hmm i just tend to favor 4-man's.  the reason i say this is: it introduces a whole new competition between squads on the team.  all are jockeying for that #1 squad position...and can take solace if they finish in top 3 squads at the end of a round.

could rotate players into the squad every other game.  altho this introduces a significant wait time when a guy has to sit out for a map before rotating back in.

@RatedChaotic Exactly. With 128 people I was excited that we might have 8 member squads and possibly even fire team assignments.

This battlefield has less team work mechanics than previous titles. Sad.
