Awwww.... How to thank those who did not request a refund and bought game for full price ? Send developers for Christmas holidays. Put the game at a discount. And spit in players' faces for a reward. Absolutely fantastic marketing which looks like stealing.
I will definitely order the game from you next time for the full price (sarcasm).
You wanted from C&C be like Starcraft => RIP C&C brand
You wanted from Anthem be like other MMO RPG => RIP Anthem
You wanted from Battlefield 2042 be like Battle Royale => RIP Battlefield
Mass Effect Andromeda => RIP
40% off for Battlefield 2042 3 week after release ? => You're killing loyal fans. Give me 3 reasons why I should pre-order a game from you in the future ? Releasing the game in the state you issued is an insult to all paying players. 40% gameoff 3 weeks after the release is a betrayal of these players. But at least that's why we know you lost with Battlefied. You admitted it publicly.
I will quote your CFO: Powered by cutting-edge technology that pushes the capabilities of next generation hardware, the game drops players into a near-future, all-out-war experience that includes the franchise’s hallmark, game-changing destruction. Featuring matches filled with up to 128 players on the latest consoles* and PCs, this unprecedented scale adds a new dimension to multiplayer battles. Battlefield 2042also ups the action with the inclusion of real-time events that reshape the battlefield and tactical combat. All-new weapons, vehicles, and gadgets give players the freedom to be strategic and create jaw-dropping, only-in-Battlefield moments.
Yes, you did it you have take Battlefield to a new level. You have also overcome yourself "coughing Anthem"

Preordering is for those that have never felt scammed out of their money. As these gamers get older they will no longer buy games early and will teach their children not to buy games early either. This is a very poor marketing strategy and is one that is driven by poor development and the forced release date set for the stockmarket. When gamers stop buying on day one and preordering, the sales strategy will be forced to change. Only then will games get better upon release.
Do not preorder or buy on day one. Granted this strategy will take time to change the way things are done, but it will change for the better over time.

I agree with you and for a game with so many problems that dice doesnt even want to address is rediculous. Thanks Dice for making me pay 120 dollars for a game that isnt even good,sad to see that halo had a better release then they did.
- foff6674 years agoNew Ace@DuhJetLife Bro nobody made you pay $120, you paid it, now suck it up. You got to play the beta, you could see the state it was in and you made your grown up decision to pay that much. I knew it was in a bad state, I waited to see how the launch went which went poorly, they put out 3 patches one after another fixing a few things, I watched to see how that went and there was enough fixed to where its playable now, not great by any means, not even good IMHO but playable and just happened to see the price drop so I took advantage. Pre ordering these days is just dumb, its not like they are running short on digital copies these days lol

We've definitely been suckers. It's like a punishment to those who pre-order.
