A few and perhaps simple questions. Battlefield 2042. Happy Holidays!

Back here on the forum after admittedly trying to get a refund through, of my copy of Battlefield 2042.

I was very displeased at the time with the situation of denial and thought I wouldn't enjoy much of 2042. That post can now be taken down, but I can't figure out how. Could anyone help?


But giving it a long and fair shot, I have actually come to enjoy Battlefield 2042 quite a bit, though I suspect that may be because it is something new. Anyway, it has it's moments and is genuine fun for me.



To this posts topic though.

Being fairly new to Battlefield 2042, but not completely new, there are some things I simply wanted to ask and know about.


Q1.


How often are double XP being delivered to players? I noticed there was one XP-event being held last weekend. Is this a weekly thing on the weekends, or are they simply tossing it here and there?


Q2.

In December last year, a Christmas-event were being held for the game, as part of a pre-season, to feature content in-between the seasons. Amongst the content and rewards, there was a specific Christmas playercard with a penguin on it, called Santa's Little Slayer and such.

My question simply is, will any of these be brought back to earn, for those who weren't around during the time of last year. I am very keen on that playercard mentioned earlier in particular!

I also figure this question would be better asked to a community manager, but Twitter only supports a few lines. Found that to be a struggle.

Q3.

My last question.


In my case not being completely new to Battlefield 2042, but a bit, I have come over there being multiple skins and bundles which have seen leaving the store.

My question is, will they ever be brought back again? There is a skin (also was a part of a bundle at one point) for the Specialist Lis which do exist, but is not available for purchase in the store at the very moment. I'm sad I missed out on it, but I hope I have not run out of chances to get it. The skin is called Blasting Agent and is a skin-set. Like previously said, the skin was also part of a bundle, which was named "Leave No Trace Bundle".


Figure this question too would be better asked to a community manager at DICE... But perhaps some here can give a answer!

    Double XP is not a weekly thing. There have only been two double XP weekends so far throughout S1-S3. One near the end of Season 2 and the last one in Season 3. They have been quoted as saying "you can expect to see more Double XP events in Season 3 and beyond".

    They have mentioned bringing back some items but not specifically anything related to last Christmas. With Christmas on Sunday, and patches normally on Tuesdays or Thursdays, it seems doubtful for this year.

    Q3.

    They have reintroduced skins that were previously available, however, they have never been specific on which ones. The hope is at some point all previous skins would at least be available in the store.

    To answer this one: if you want that thread to be closed, you could DM a Community Manager. There's no harm just leaving it there though, I'm sure it won't make much difference if it's left open.
