@Hoak I totally agree and on top of all this the maps feel unfinished and barren of details. Optimization is very poor. As you play the game it performs worse and worse.

Back @GRiPSViGiL 'thinking about refund'... I think Battlefield fans, like you and me have serious cognitive dissonance with 2042, we've loved and enjoyed the franchise so much, even the lesser iterations of the game were still good enough.
But even with all the bad signs we went went ahead and forked out our hard earned money for...this, and we want so badly for it to be good, but it just isn't even 'ok' -- it's really shockingly terrible...
While 2042 does have some of the aesthetic grandiosity of a Battlefield game, it's like EA and DICE turned their kids loose on this or an ESG committee and let them design the game by random draw, it's really sad...
