The problem with helos is the fact that they are flying tanks in BF2042. They can literally take cannonshots and rocket propelled grenades like they were 65-ton tanks. That is what´s destroying the game (that and the appearance of 60+ kill aimbotters, that´s a thing now).
A small helo in real life can be shot down with any rifle calibre weapon, they are scared to death about incoming fire, but in BF2042 they can literally fly straight into an automatic cannon that is rapidfiring 20mm explosive shells directly at them.. and not care.
There is no balance in this game, at all. Dice just nerfs whatever gun is the most used at the time instead of looking at why other weapons are not used as much (because they are even worse).
I´m pretty much done with 2042. Getting instakilled from any distance by guys i can´t even kill with direct hits from a 50mm cannon.. This game is so bad it´s not even good for a joke anymore.
