First of all this was made with Unreal engine, and I highly doubt EA Dice will drop their in-house developed Frostbite engine for paid service from Unreal.
Next this looks more like a trailer rather than gameplay.
Don't get me wrong, I would welcome a BF game that looks like this, but I just don't see it happening. Prove me wrong Dice!
Pretty dark video, it would be hard to see enemy in that game.
Just saying.

True. It looks really good graphically, but if it could scale to 32v32 or whatever gameplay with destruction, vehicles, etc at the fidelity that we'd expect then I think it's something to be impressed by.
But as stated, as much as I'd be curious to see BF try a UE game versus Frostbite, I just don't see it happening. Although having UE as an engine that colleges/universities around the country teach to get into game dev is definitely a lot easier to get some candidates that I imagine would have less ramp-up time than being tossed in front of an internal engine for the first time.

@sk1lldFair point, it looks gritty and realistic but if it would make for good gameplay is questionable

Still a nice video. 👍 to whoever made this.
