@RayD_O1 MM is the main thing that kills the game just right after the poor stability of the game and performance. The next one would be a lack of content.
MM is a terrible experience for people willing to play with 4+ people on the same server. Not to mention hosting an event or having permanent settings.
Players like me look for a solid PvP experience without being imposed and glitching to death AI.
The only good thing about the lobby is higher privacy at this point. But the lobby kills off the game much quicker than hosted servers by the community.
Community servers usually have capped PING so the servers do not go up with latency delay. Custom server rules help with playability, but some people abstain from this notion.
I see no strong reason for the MM except for one, which is pulling the plug early, and EAs plan to bore the player base to death before that happens.
For the lone wolf that is not minding the server status, MM is probably salvation.
To me, everything seems bright as a day. Killing community aspects equal killing the Community and REVENUE, but this type of thinking requires higher math and a license, possibly a Ph.D. at this point, unfortunately.
It`s not about a mood but rather a common sense not present for now to be found in-game design, Publisher to player communication. Only more to turn a private casino spin on everything.
