Add a server browser
DICE, please add a server browser. I cannot find matches in my region(India). I am just stuck on the waiting for players screen and the match never starts or there are only 20-30 players in a match. ...

Yes I agree, my topic subject should have read : DICE add a Server Browser / Persistent Servers to AOW. as that describes it better.
I have amended it accordingly.
I'm all for persistent servers, but there absolutely needs to be an aggressive and effective team balancer between rounds. In addition the balancer would block mid round joiners if it would upset the balance.
Competitive/good players would just server hop until they could find an easy server to pub stomp.

Persistent servers coupled with a team balancer would work for me.

If DICE don't do this SOON there will be no player base left by season one. !!
I hope they implement persistent servers and a server browser as the community is in desperate need of this as well as a whole host of other issues. Community-run rental servers would be an awesome addition too.
I just don't feel like they really give a crap and honestly the complete lack of communications is pretty telling at this point.
A little communication would go a long way...

I totally agree mate the sooner the better before this game disappears further down the pan.
Community run servers would indeed be awesome as you say so we can get a bit of community spirit going in this game as it is pretty soulless at the moment.
I also agree the lack of communications is the other MAJOR point they need to address before we lose any more of the dwindling player base.
Promising us a new Feedback Loop starting around the time of the next update will not be enough for the players who currently can't even join a game. Or for the clans / communities who cant play as groups due to the MM limitations.
As you say DICE need to throw us more regular crumbs of info in the interim to give the remaining player base something to cling on to.
I know you have personally been pushing hard for more regular updates and I commend your efforts, keep up the good work.
Yes the game still needs a Server Browser.
Todayโs BF2042 experience:
Round cannot start because there arenโt enough players. Tried playing Conquest 64, Conquest and Breakthrough. Conquest 64 went upto 17 players and the round started but two players left so back to searching for players.

A perfect example of why we need to keep pushing DICE to replace MM with a working Server Browser / Persistent Servers.
DICE please make it happen so all players have access to BF2042.

It does, and probably more than it needs any other addition.

- @RayD_O1 My experiance has not improved. Still can not MM into breakthrough or Rush. I am the only person waiting in the lobby every time. Last night Conquest match ended because there were not enough players. Eventually made it into a new round with some others, but lots of AI.

Imho MM has been a massive step backwards for the BF franchise.
It's amazing that they still haven't implemented a SB. I know they see how big this topic is but yet they ignore it. Either they don't know how or they are too stubborn! I always use the example of they had to figure out how to code 2 XP into the game and that took a few months to do that. That is why we never had 2 XP events prior to S2 or 3 (can't remember when). If it took them that long to figure that out how long do you think it would take for them to implement a SB?

It really is hard to fathom how anyone believed that it would be a good idea to remove a Server Browser from a BF Multiplayer game and replace it with MM.
I still find it so frustrating that after playing a round in AOW that I get dumped back to the lobby to start and try to find a game. ! Why ? I have just been playing on a full server all that needed to happen was to load the next map and stay on that server, just like we did in every previous BF.
Imho , BF2042 has been frustrating / time consuming in comparison to earlier BF's, and all because of the decision to opt for MM.- @NazT55
Maybe it's both..they don't know and stubborn.. But what i know for a fact is that by going this road was a big mistake, it costed them lots of players. And if i'm correct there still is no full explenation why there is no SB in this game.

I believe that the decision to implement MM rather than the Server Browser was the biggest mistake I have witnessed in any BF title to date.
