Add a server browser
DICE, please add a server browser. I cannot find matches in my region(India). I am just stuck on the waiting for players screen and the match never starts or there are only 20-30 players in a match. ...

I just see this as just another confirmation that they read it and cannot deny knowledge of the fact that this is one of the most urgent fixes.
I am well aware that they will not respond, because of the true reason CMs here are in this forum. I wrote it more to those members of the community still in the erroneous belief that they are here to help and to bring information on how to improve the game back to the team at Dice (and by team I mean the two internship students still trying to understand how Frostbite works)
They are here to manage the community -- by keeping them busy posting irrelevant suggestions that will never see the light of day. And that is also the reason why I bring this topic back up again and again. It is important and is definitely not off-topic. So they cannot close the thread. But their refusal to even comment on the fact that they don't comment on that proposal is really telling.

I think it was a good idea to ask the question while you had his attention my reference to off topic was simply because it was on a thread about somebody asking for their money back so he probably thought he could move it.They should have implemented the proposal or at least given us reasons why not.
MM is preventing us from playing the game the way we choose and that has to change.
We should all be able to play BF2042 the same way we played previous BF titles, not the way MM forces us to play, or in many cases prevents players playing all together. !!
DICE we first of all need urgent answers followed up with urgent action.
This Matchmaking BS is gonna be the downfall of this franchise.
Persistent servers and community-run servers along with a proper server browser needs to return.
it's part of the core Battlefield formula that made this franchise what it is.
They can add all the silly skins and broken score-boards they want but this game aint gonna turn around until they fix these some of these core problems

100% correct, and MM has made BF2042 a laughing stock in comparison.

As others have said, their refusal to comment on it is very telling. It is totally unacceptable that DICE is not responding to this thread or giving any feedback as to when they are going to sort out this ongoing MM problem.
- @RayD_O1 what is totally wild to me is that EA/DICE has made this situation even worse by not being responsive to the loyal customers that come on here to post ideas.
If they just came on here regularly, posted honestly, even if it is something we don't want to hear would be better than silence. That is disrespectful.

I 100% agree with you this constant wall of silence is disrespectful and adds to the frustrations players have with BF2042.
Like you I want this game to succeed and be better for all players, DICE need to show us that they want this too, and spell out their plans to turn it around asap. - @RayD_O1 yeah man, you are killing it on here and I appreciate your persistence.
Why not a crude basic roadmap with no timelines. Tell us you are attempting to do with no guarantees due to technical limitations (engine), resources (personnel expertise), or time (money). We would actually be more understanding and patient.
Just think if you went to an appt of any kind and there is no one at the receptionist desk, you sign in and sit down, and now are 2 hours past your appt time and there is just silence. We are all in the waiting room looking at each other and talking to each other wondering what the hell is going on. That's what this forum feels like. DMV like.

Yeah I agree with you any form of communication would help to carry the player base along with them, whereas this continued wall of silence causes unnecessary frustration and has led to this "Them and Us" relationship.
As you say it wouldn't take much, and it doesn't need to be set in stone just something to show that we matter here on these forums and to let us have an insight into their plans for BF2042, if there are any.

BF was made to be played with a server browser. Dice admitted their mistake with HZ but ignore how bad MM is?
Unreal ain't it? Not even a passing mention.
I am really starting to feel like it is the SWBFII devs on the team that are pushing this no Server Browser thing because their game didn't have one. People wanted on there too and that request was also ignored.
It is s shame that we are going backwards in usability of these games instead of finding new and better ways to play game together.
So DICE... HOW are we supposed to play and test kaleidoscope 2.0 WITHOUT a Server Browser?
Do I have to enter and exit 100 queues to finally be lucky and get the reworked map?
Or do you consider a 24/7 kaleidoscope 2.0 playlist?

The devs say they listen to the community but on this matter they don’t.
For the next BF game I’ll no longer pre-order but will wait and only purchase if the game has essential functions such as a server browser.

Exactly this, BF2042 is a shell of a game compared to previous BF's imho and MM is responsible for a lot of the unnecessary frustration.
With so few maps in BF2042 we should at least be able to play through them all in rotation rather than have MM decide which maps we can play.
Too much unnecessary time spent in lobbies after every single round when we should be playing.
Not having a proper Server Browser / Persistent Servers is a big mistake and has contributed to the mass exodos of players we have witnessed since launch.
Do EA even realise that they have gone back 10 years? NOPE.
Having a 128 player server that you can only play with 3 friends is EA DICE trolling us.
They should apologise for the fact that this game is still in a development phase and apologise for either knowing the state of the game at release but choosing to hope that we're all absolute idiots that don't have valid opinions - or apologise for being so incompetent that they didn't realise.
I really hope that those senior leaders responsible aren't paid any form of bonus - I get it it's not really any of my business - but they literally are not worth the space they occupy.
Remember they focus on Multiplayer. That was the reason we dont get singleplayer...
And 6 month later multiplayer is still *!
We need a server browser now, and the ability to not play the same map over and over and over
