Exactly. All they have to do is play their own past games maps. Also, there were already a ton of feedback topics on this. A single community manager could have easily looked them through months ago and take notes. Dice is just stalling. Its obvious.
If only 2k people are paying they have no more incentive to do anything major. Esp. after that shareholder call it was made clear that BF is not where the big money comes from.
Exactly @Buzzfunk ,
But BF is only 5-10% of total revenue at EA exactly because they screwed it up so much big time!!!
They downplayed BF totally at the investor call to try and swipe the massive failure in under the rug. Don't get this wrong.
If BF2042 had come out as that massive success it was meant and planned to be, let there be no doubt that we would then have had near daily news briefs from EA Execs about the impressive number of online players and microtransaction $ coming flowing in from the 100,000s of concurrent live players 24/7 !!!
We would have had a server browser and live dashboards, so we all could glare on the impressive live player count going from 105,000 at launch, to up to 150,000 at start of December, to going through the roof to 200,000-300,000 live players over the xmas and new year vacation break !!!
EA Execs are now trying to mull this over as 'almost nothing of importance'. But that doesn't mean that it isn't so. Its a big thing.
Just think about what they did to EA/DICE and the brand reputation.
Think about the mindset of the million of customers that got burned off.
Think about the meltdown if FIFA got released with 'Specialists' and no team playing features or scoreboard?
Its screams to the sky how EA Execs could allow this to go so bad for the BF franchise and still tip toeing around the root causes.
