Why not a crude basic roadmap with no timelines. Tell us you are attempting to do with no guarantees due to technical limitations (engine), resources (personnel expertise), or time (money). We would actually be more understanding and patient.

Just think if you went to an appt of any kind and there is no one at the receptionist desk, you sign in and sit down, and now are 2 hours past your appt time and there is just silence. We are all in the waiting room looking at each other and talking to each other wondering what the hell is going on. That's what this forum feels like. DMV like.

Yeah I agree with you any form of communication would help to carry the player base along with them, whereas this continued wall of silence causes unnecessary frustration and has led to this "Them and Us" relationship.

As you say it wouldn't take much, and it doesn't need to be set in stone just something to show that we matter here on these forums and to let us have an insight into their plans for BF2042, if there are any.
