Add a server browser

Time to uninstall guys.

So they say they not adding a server browser, like one of the most requested features.......................absolute joke. BF NEEDS A SERVER BROWSER.............

Bring back Dice of old days, its obvious the current Dice know nothing of Battlefield, well not like 2042 didnt already show that.

This is not a BR game, it NEEDS browsers

What I don’t understand is that they say they aren’t being in a server browser to all out warfare. 

but they are interested in exploring persistent portal servers.

Am i mad, but aren’t they basically the same thing? 

all we need are persistent portal servers that allow admins to define map rotation.

I hope no one took this crushing and demoralizing news personally. DICE has been ignoring community feedback for decades. That's how the "working as intended" meme started.

They've ignored my feedback for over a decade. They've ignored Battle(non)sense's feedback so he shut his YouTube channel down. Heck they even ignored feedback from fellow co-workers in DICE's Slack chat channel.

I give DICE credit for straight answers recently. Such as no mouse support for consoles, no server browser, no persistent servers, no map rotations, and detailing their plans for specialist.

I'll be playing the MW2 open beta September 26.

Er not my first battlefield game. But ok.

By the way, having watched the rest of the update on twitch, there are actually some interesting improvements. 

two rounds per match is almost/nearly enough for me to try it out again. But still, more community based quality of life improvements would be a good thing. Perhaps season 4?

What the hell is wrong with you? What happened?

Managing my expectation on server browser? What expectation? The implementation of the server browser is ******* basic. There is none-zero-nada expectation about that. Only disappointment.

I think one reason is the senior DICE members who made older BF games have moved on to other studios (Embark Studios being one of the latest).

If it wasn't for portal I would have stopped playing long ago. CoD is matchmaking only and it killed the game for me. I'm to the point that if a game is matchmaking only I'm going to pass on it.

Portal could have been much bigger but it took way too allow full xp for anything outside of the official experiences. It still lacks in some areas but I don't think it will be updated to a point that people come back to it.

If DICE doesn't want to add the browser to AOW then add Breakthrough to portal so we can at least make our own games with the server browser there.

It's blatantly obvious just reading these posts just how much of an own goal DICE have scored by refusing to implement a Server Browser/ Persistent Servers in AOW.

It will do nothing for the good of BF2042 or future BF titles, imho MM is unacceptable and unworkable in a BF multiplayer game.

It's like they sitting in a nuclear shelter with fake windows, showing sunny beaches with palm trees where everybody is playing in the sand and are swimming with dolphins...how nice and relaxing...life is good. Just ignore the rest of the world.
