Add a server browser
DICE, please add a server browser. I cannot find matches in my region(India). I am just stuck on the waiting for players screen and the match never starts or there are only 20-30 players in a match. ...

As mentioned above, where would you guys rate a Server Browser / Persistent Servers in your list of priorities, both for BF2042 and subsequent Battlefields going forward. ?
@RayD_O1 Server Browser/Persistent Servers always will be top of my list.
Plus lets have us rent our own servers, have more than 4 friends join us, even have a community group of players test the game before any updates and give feedback to fix problems before it goes to the masses. Map rotation, squad, team voip that works, commanders to direct squad leaders, working as a squad, team, lots of good things but of course it all comes back to server browser first.

100% this, lets get back to how it used to be in previous Battlefield's. 👍
(Note : sorry I inadvertently marked your post as the solution and then unmarked it again)- @RayD_O1 Lol for some reason i got 2,034 xp for that post..lol. Must mean everyone wants what i want old BF back.
There seems to be a lot of YouTubers talking about the next BF and every single one of them are mentioning a SB and Persistent Servers as a baseline. Even LoganTheBrawler has said it!
Because I cant MM into all of the core game modes in AOW, (only CQ, nothing else) I am finding that I have to go to Portal to try and MM into a game. The pro is that there are some servers running which are almost identical in everyway to AOW like Breakthrough or CQ etc. and there is good map rotations. Not like the AOW crap we are having to put up with.
The con is, that even through they are like the AOW modes with AI, they are limited mastery. So progressing through this really long and drawn out battle pass for S6 particularly has been one hell of a chore for me.
On another note, I did watch a YT video from Squid and he has posted up a video of the guy who invented Battle Royal signing his name on the DICE wall, likely going in to give feedback on the next BF BR mode. Not sure how I feel about this. I just want a normal battlefield game again!
Also the lack of content for this season with dragging out the rehashed seasons events, then a longer than anticipated S6 with only 1 x map, not even a re-work of an older BF map to keep the content up and no word of S7 or anything for the future just further shows how much respect DICE has for the BF community. I am thinking the trust is long gone now at this stage.

A good post and I am sure that a Server Browser / Persistent Servers will be the baseline for for the majority of players in future Battlefields.
Your post highlights how MM is making it difficult for you and many others to play BF2042 the way you want to. Without a SB / PS you are having to compromise.

Imho MM is holding BF2042 back, it simply cannot cope with players needs in a BF multiplayer environment.
For that reason It is very important to keep this thread alive and players should add their support regularly.
It acts as a reminder that we are not happy with the current set up and MM needs to be replaced asap for the good of this game and every BF game going forward.
The sooner MM is replaced the better. DICE please help to make BF great again and bring back the much needed / loved Server Browser Persistent Servers so we can all enjoy our BF gaming experience to the full.- @frekwalda1 haha that's right, you need to add something in your post like a signature block.

In all seriousness, the biggest failure of this game out of all the issues has been with game launching. More players prefer predictability over ease of use and randomness.
Also, just the fact that I can finish an awesome round with highly competitive teams to then get dropped back into a lobby waiting for players is one of the most epic fails in an FPS matchmaking system I have ever seen. Who would code that algorithm and think that process is a good one? DICE, that's who.

I long for the days when we can get back to playing Battlefield the way it was meant to be played, the day the Server Browser / Persistent Servers finally returns.
