AI Bots in a closed multiplayer game

I don't know how varied and crazy your map and scenario selections would be but yes, this should be doable via portal

@ZakenherOk will answer each of your 5 questions based on information we already have.

1. Yes you can add a password to your Portal Server to keep it private.

2. Yes you can have as many people in your server as you want up to the 128 limit on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC or 64 on Xbox One and PS4.

3. Yes you can have all the AI Soldiers on one team if you want to.

4. You can also have the AI Soldiers as Backfilling for both teams up to the above player limits.

5. You have access to ALL 2042 Maps and the 6 Portal Maps from the previous games mentioned including the weapons and vehicles from those old games. Basically in Portal you have access to Everything!

So yes you can do your clan of 9 + 55 friendly AI Soldiers VS 64 enemy AI Soldiers if you want to 🙂

Can even tweak their difficulty level.

Yes, on the BF2042 Portal you can set up private servers, where only other players you have invited/shared the password with will be able to enter.

@Zakenher: Multiplayer

Yes, on the Portal game creator you can decide how many player slots you want the game to be open for.

@Zakenher: AI Bots Team

Yes, you can define that the opposing team should only consist of AI Soldiers.

Yes, you can also define how many AI Soldiers that also should be on your own team.

Yes, the Portal is already at launch been told to have all the seven maps set in 2042 as well as the following remastered maps:

Battle of the Bulge (Battlefield 1942)
El Alamein (Battlefield 1942)
Arica Harbor (Battlefield: Bad Company 2)
Valparaiso (Battlefield: Bad Company 2)
Caspian Border (Battlefield 3)
Noshahr Canals (Battlefield 3).

Next to this, you will in the Portal Experience Creator have access to a wealth of game design parameters that you and your friends can toy around with.  So already now we can say that the variations are literally limitless.  So a lot of hours of fun awaits for us all here with this!
