Aim assist gone in BF2042?
1. I have been playing the game now for about 60-65 hours on PS5 and it’s safe to say there is no aim assist for controllers, neither PS5 nor the Xbox SX or on PC with controller.
2. No aim assist means no tracking at longer ranges. I find it extremely difficult to track players with full auto guns because of this exact reason and as you can imagine this is a downside to playing with PC players. They can literally obliterate console players at longer ranges because DICE would not add aim assist for 2042. I do not understand this ideology. For how long will you keep on upsetting your console player base . Do DICE not care about the largest player base of their games? DICE please stop fixing stuff which is not broken at all.
3. Next topic would be Snipers. Since there is no aim assist at all it is completely unfair to face off PC players who can snipe and track better at longer ranges. No aim assist means you cannot make small adjustments to your aim when sniping at longer ranges, which puts controller players at a great disadvantage.
4. Why not add input based matchmaking or crossplay only between consoles? This would greatly benefit the console player base, especially if there continues to be no aim assist.
5. Lastly, I hope you take these aforementioned things seriously, otherwise expect the console player base to take a huge hit in a title entry which is already controversial.
