I have to laugh at you PC players whining.
The only thing they did was remove the aim slow down bubble that was making it damn near impossible to track moving targets.
The snap aim still doesn't work 80% of the time, there is no horizontal tracking/assit
As a Series X player the only noticable difference after patch my aim isn't stuck in lag do to the aim assit bubble anymore.
So if your losing to a console player its because they out shot you not to aim assit. The only difference now is console players aren't being even more handicapped by the old aim assit.

Okay cool, then turn off aim assist and see how many gunfights you win. Aim assist is necessary, but it’s not about if controllers should have it. It’s always been an argument of how much assist should controller players get?
I’ve plugged in a controller a couple of times and It absolutely tracks horizontally. I’m a potato on a controller and was shredding people up close with SMG’s.
- xXHappy_PuppyXx3 years agoRising Ace@RaginSam /facepalm the console aim assit is not the same as pc... hence in the patch notes it was a fix to console aim assit.
I have played both full aim assit and with it off. There is no discernable difference.
In fact do to the slow bubble effect I had to turn it off as it was that detrimental to gameplay.- RaginSam3 years agoSeasoned Ace@xXHappy_PuppyXx /facepalm It’s cross play my dude.
Not all console players were having an issue to begin with.
Play without aim assist and watch your stats. There’s a big difference. Aim assist helps a lot more than you realize.

I appreciate everyone's feedback and I knew I would get a few "you PC players" and "quit whining" but when you are playing on a server with half PC players and every death is from a console player, that is not just “get gud". I have been playing BF since 1942 (the game lol) and I would consider myself at least slightly above average.
Just like with other design decisions, they are catering more and more to novice players. They already have lag compensation helping out players with high pings and now this seems like they went a little extreme on the aim assist settings. I am glad it is working better for console players but man it sucks that every time I am hit, I'm killed. I get hit by PC players a few times but not killed. I can get to cover, heal, and return fire. I take screenshots of every death just to record net stats, so I have receipts.
- xXHappy_PuppyXx3 years agoRising Ace@Adamonic The problem is when you start your premise with a lie it invalidates anything you say. You did not die everytime to a console player that's mathematically impossible.
Dice did other things such as server adjustments those can have more effect then some imaginary aim assit that's not their.
I have challenged you PC players to show hand and screen camra footage of this imagined aimassit tracking and yet not one has ever shown it on console nor pc using a controller.
Never once have I had my "aim assit" pull tracking on a target. The easy way to tell is if you are aiming at one target and a enemy closer to you runs through your aim point it should automatically pull your aim to the closer target and that does not happen with 2042.- 3 years ago@xXHappy_PuppyXx OK whatever, then go post somewhere else if you have nothing constructive to add to the thread. I'm not questioning you on whether you use aim assist or not, but calling me a liar is a personal attack. Enjoy the ban.
I have been tracking my deaths for months, go look at the other threads in reference to TTD vs TTK and other performance threads. I literally played two rounds and quit. All console deaths. It happened.
I don't know what is causing it but I'm not making crap up to stir the pot, I was curious to see if others noticed anything because every console player that hit me, killed me. Never happened like that before, had to do a player count to see what the ratio was because it was so odd.
- CloverDeuce3 years agoSeasoned Ace@xXHappy_PuppyXx nice reply. Agreed! I don't see any difference other than now my crosshairs aren't constantly being pushed behind a running enemy.

This clearly show that there should be no crossplay between PC and Console!
In my opinion the aim-assist is totally broken. 80% of the time there is absolutely no aim-assist and 20% of the time it's like aimbot.
I avoid playing crossplay against PC but unfortunately there is virtually no running servers on Xbox series.
I advice everybody on PC to try the game on Console so you actually understand how hard it is to aim without assist with a controller against M&K.

Died 12 times, all by console players; I take screenshots of each death trying to troubleshoot TTK/TTD issues. Some were super quick. Never saw a stretch like this. I did get hit by some PC players, but never killed. I tried to jump, go prone, everything, and once I was hit by a console player it always resulted in a death for me. I did get 1 or 2 kill trades in there.
