@Lancing975 "They really should play Call of Duty and take notes from their aim assist as it works very well." Precisely!! How CoD could get it so right while 2042 got it so wrong is beyond me. In CoD, I play with crossplay ON and can actually hit what I aim at.
In 2042, I try to play with crossplay OFF because I feel we're (controller.console) all at the same DISadvantage and I have a 50/50 chance of winning a gunfight. Against a PC/m+k, I don't have much of a chance.

COD's aim assist only "works well" if you consider the game aiming for you a good thing.
In COD the AA will literally drag your crosshairs onto the target if your looking in an enemy's general direction when you hit the ADS button. I wouldn't want to see that happen in Battlefield.- imptown3 years agoNew Vanguard
@BizzyVaping You, of course, are entitled to your opinion. I just don't agree with it.
I would accept anything that would correct the awkward/inconsistent/wildly inaccurate console aiming of 2042 right now.
I believe I've played every Battlefield on console and I find the aiming situation that exists now absolutely deplorable.

yeah I don't know why they don't fix this. Its such a massive problem yet nothing has been done to significantly fix the issue. I've given up playing until they can fix this
