Unless other vehicles(tanks, boats) also end up being more realistic, it doesn't seem consistent to only make aircraft more realistic and harder to use (unless they get buffed to compensate, but that could create more balance issues), also like mentioned before, more realistic aircraft might be more frustrating than fun for a lot of players too, after all Battlefield is not Arma....
P.S. I actually like flight simulators like MSFS 2020 and DCS, but I still don't believe significant more realistic aircraft would fit an arcade sandbox game like Battlefield
- 4 years ago@Icemangooo I couldn't agree more. As someone who has tried to play DCS with kb/m, I about tossed my PC out the window after 15 minutes. And I'm someone who enjoys playing War Thunder with kb/m, but that's mainly the naval matches with aircraft mixed in. Anyways, without a flight stick, it was just about impossible to play DCS and extremely frustrating. Helicopters in War Thunder are just as frustrating without a flight stick.
Personally, I would prefer Dice to stick with what they are currently doing with helicopter and aircraft flight controls and have done in the past. As we say in the military and other jobs, don't fix what isn't broken!
