Already bored of the maps!
As the title says. It would of course help, if you were to enable portal weapon progression, we are begging for this for weeks now. Wake Up!! If you are not going to, at least give as conquest small...

I agree. Maps are stale. Without levolution there is nothing to demolish anyway so your stuck with the intended gameplay. Finding a way to tinker around is tough. I like that there are a few cars, but every car should be hackable/hotwired. To me to map feels very static. It is the reason I haven't bought it yet and am still on play Premium. If this game does not offer levolution or vehicles, I am going to get bored. Especially when in games it sometimes feels like half the team is away from keyboard, you're down 500 points after really trying and the rest of the time it is just a grinder till the end. I am not even searching for an easter egg, thats how bad things gotten. Add to that almost every round beginning with the forced 5 minutes of running to a flag when you're dropped, the amount of time grinding is becoming a taunt which is already bumming me out. The servers are boring too. Even if you do find a good squad, you're scrambled so bad there is no consistency in experiences. I'm having a hard time here
Well if you're bored of the maps after 7 days you'll be bored in another week with 7 more new maps.
Sounds like battlefield isn't for you guys.
- @Tank2042Man That is not true… cause if they put the portal maps in the map rotation we would have some GOOD maps to play on
- @Tank2042Man Im playing since early access mate.. not that it matters. I have 1000 something hrs in bf 5, and i didnt have this problem there.
- @Tank2042Man This makes no sense. People are bored of the 2042 maps because comparatively they lack depth of detail and points of interest like maps from previous games. Paracel Islands and Siege of Shanghai from BF4 had more thought put into them. They both included levolution that impacted the game itself, unlike the storm gimmicks.
I have been a BF fan since 1942. The simple truth is I can pick several launch maps from each game that were memorable. Of the seven on 2042, not a single one is above mediocre.You guys get different maps? I thought the game had only Hourglass.
Yup, was a great idea by dice to remove the server browser so you can't choose what map to play. Starting to wonder who at dice actually worked on this game, the amount of moronic decisions really is astounding.

I personally thought Shanghai was one of the most boring maps in BF4 along with Flood Zone.- @Tank2042Man Subjective maybe but most would disagree. Siege is def a fan favorite. At least with all of my BF buddies.
I would love a remake of Paracel Storm and Siege of Shanghai. Those were great maps.
- @Tank2042Man Yeah didn't they actually say 2042 would have the greatest level of destruction of any battlefield yet before release?
I really can't think of any other game in the series that had less destruction (Maybe Hardline, but I really don't even remember what the destruction was like in that) @Tank2042Man 7 new maps? Where are you getting your info?
launching with 7 maps is always bad play for Battlefield. Especially if it's a long wait till the next map! BF3 launched with over 8 maps plus had Back to Karkand drop within a month of release. Best DLC ever imo! So we had enough content to keep us going till the next DLC in the spring which was close quarters.
If there are no new maps till sometime next year it will further compound the apathy
