Amazon is reportedly Buying EA

Meh.  If they do they do.  If I no longer have fun with BF I will just move on.

So Microsoft is buying Activision/Blizzard and Amazon is buying EA. I guess it's the battle of the hosted servers and on-line gaming 

This is going to hurt gaming as we know it....farewell Battlefield. We had a good run. Hello run and gun, slide cancelling, bunny hopping BR everything has a crazy flashing skin kids games....

@CantGetRightAs a life long BF player, Battlefield has always been my main FPS PVP game, even stubborn enough of a fan to keep playing 2042. Suppose cant get worse than 2042 but still......I guess will have to see how it plays out.

Its not a case of "I will just move on" for me, otherwise I probably would have done it since BF V

Wonder who it was at Amazon that had the power and influence to convince EA to completely tank several of their major franchises in order to reduce the asking price?

Or maybe EA just wanted to do it themselves to make an aquisition more attractive for someone?

There seems to be a lot of news coming out in the last hour saying its not going to happen.
