Anyway guys, what is the point of these XP points? you play like a month and you got all the attachments and weapons you need. If you’re coming to play for skins and XP etc. you’re playing it wrong I say. The game itself supposed to give you fun and It does for me for sure. I don’t care how my character looks like etc. I don’t see myself anyway. I’m just trying to understand where does this obsession come from? I’m around 50 years old when I was a child I played lots of computer games and didn’t have the desire to change the character like having a blue ninja instead of a black ninja etc. lol so the game Hass to be interesting instead. If the game is not interesting to you, it is very weird for me that you keep playing to change the looks of your character lol
Edit: i’m going to take this a step further, this character customization obsession is driving the game in the direction it is going. It’s all about micro transactions for a customization.
@JOGAGATYAI want to hide Sundance's head under a full helmet, is that a problem?
One of my missions is to cover the faces of as many clown specialists as possible.

Many players who stand by BF (as a series) expect a decent Battlefield Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough experience. Also, I play a lot smaller modes like TDM, Chainlink, Infantry Conquest, SQTDM, Domination, Gun Master.
2042 feels empty with not many polished game modes. AI that is nowhere near to perfect PvP experience. Without a server browser, there are no custom-made permanent games. Sometimes I end up with bots for a good chunk of the round.
Does Escape from Tarkov looks goofy? Devs push with their vision uninterrupted. In extraction-type games, LOOTING plays an enormous role. It is fun to play on AI as well because of the loot. BF2042 presents only enormous incoherence. Complete lack of vision in both classic modes like Conquest and the newly called Hazard Zone.
Custom game modes will only disrupt the progression system, literally destroy it. Zombie mode may seem fun but in practice, the new game mode doesn`t add much to the BF formula (I mean shooting AI in multiplayer).
I played BF4 TDM Silk Road with my mates today. Six of us on TeamSpeak3. We split between the teams at some point to keep the game fair. The server has only the Silk Road map in the rotation. A dedicated permanent server with rules, and an in-game balance plugin. One of my mates is the admin so we modify everything to our needs as well. I even played on my own one round against 3 of my mates on the opposite team and still, I had a lot of fun. Totally competitive and engaging experience, I checked the scoreboard a lot. Thanks to global chat we could invite some other lad to TS3. Even VoIP is enabled. I haven`t heard any harassment through in-game VoIP tbh through my entire BF4 history. Only heavy breathing on a glitched microphone. No AI, no changing lobby each time, same players on the server, fully customizable experience as well.
Sad times, sad times. Now does anyone in DICE understand why there is negative feedback coming from the community?
Show me anything like that in BF2042 - feels like a lonely experience against BOTS on bigger maps. Absolutely not engaging, and custom modes only destroy progression in Portal as a matter of fact. It`s way harder to find a customizable experience without permanent servers. Lobby and AI are not the way to go, perhaps in HZ or BR.
- JOGAGATYA4 years agoSeasoned Ace@UP_Hawxxeye I guess you suffer the same sickness. You want to cover up the character. You want….to….change….it. ….customize it.
It’s ok. This is what the new generation wants. I accept it. I can’t do a thing about it i guess. - UP_Hawxxeye4 years agoLegend
@JOGAGATYA
This has everything to do with the specialists making at the end of round screen mostly faces that makes me want to punch them right there and there. This is not a "generation thing"I did not had such problems in BFV because there were no cringe lines for our avatars and we could pick their mugs without impact to our gameplay.
BF2042 goes out of its way to make people aware of how their avatars look ingame.
I would had been perfectly happy with serious base soldiers with no customization a la BF3
- JOGAGATYA4 years agoSeasoned Ace@UP_Hawxxeye Gotcha. No offence. Respect to you.
