At first glance it is welcomed as right now all weapons nominally feel the same within a class.
It’ll be refreshing at least and will make people try out different weapons, plus add a variability element.
The last thing I want to do is memorize Recoil patterns like what I had to do 20+ years ago for counter strike in order to be competitive.
Not that I'm that sweaty at these types of games anymore, but I don't want massive recoil or especially not randomness

My feedback to this upcoming change: 👎
- 2 years agoThey specifically mentioned that they intend to bring this 'improvement' the same way they introduced the 'improved sprint' animation.
This was the first I disabled after they introduced it and the same goes for the visual recoil, which they stated is only there to 'increase immersion' and will not change the actual recoil.
So, if they do that and I get an option to turn this off, this is the first thing I will do after the update. Deactivate this nonsense and keep on playing the normal way.- NehkidGramma842 years agoNew Vanguard
Is it just me, or are we going back to the BF5 style of recoil now being random and the dispersion now being random as well? (sigh) I have to agree with a lot of people on here. We didnt ask for this and I dunno why its being implemented. I hope this doesnt drive a lot of the people away from the game. I feel Dice is walking on the razors edge with this recoil thing. I don't wish bad luck on anyone, but i sincerely hope this won't come back to bite you in the butt.
