@sk1lldBriefly, yeah. Note: Those are across multiple games/teams - so you have Frostbite roles, roles for PGA Tour, FIFA, EA Sports, non-dev (inclusion consultant, HR), compliance managers etc.
The jobs that would be more applicable for 2042 overall look fairly routine/normal for a AAA company to be having open at any time. These are big companies and have a number of positions to fill at any given moment.
I'm a little confused by your reply.
EA Sports, one of 20 studios owned by EA did FIFA. DICE has done the Battlefield and Battlefront titles. That job link was to DICE Sweden afaik. EA lists 300 plus or less a couple DICE employees. DICE has 3 studios one in Barcelona, London and Sweden I think EA renamed the LA studio if I Rember correctly.
Thats a lot of job openings for one small studio, you think?
Or am I still confused?
DICE Studio is proud to have 350 amazing people.
According to DICE Sweden's web page they have 350 employees, 715 if you count worldwide.
DICE is not involved in FIFA development as far as I know, EA Sports is. DICE Canada wrote the Frostbite engine true, but when EA purchased DICE they closed the Canada studio and EA took exclusive control of the engine.
Which is why I'm confused by your FIFA statement.
Here's the titles DICE develops:
- 4 years ago@sk1lld I'm literally just reciting the job listings from your link dude. There were roles for FIFA and other titles there. So even if this was just DICE and it's 700+ studio, this is not super abnormal in terms of job openings.

I apologize.
Skimmed right over the FIFA references in the job descriptions and now understand why you said this.
