Actually, you can place them and then shoot them if the tank doesn't move, and it will trigger them to explode.

@unique_steeltam Luckily for you , most people still do not know how good they can be. I wonder if they got stealth buffed. They used to have some delay before exploding after being thrown.
All I know is that yesterday I sent an enemy MAV that was parked next to our M-com all the way to the Aloha SnackBar.
When I am to be a vehicle driver, I always pick Irish in order to set up a safer heaven near the enemy lines that I otherwise would. I suspect they also stop AT mines.
