Any updates on Mouse Input

Hey @Adamonic,

There were some mouse input improvements that went live Update 3.2.0, are you still experiencing some sort of odd behaviour?

• Optimized mouse input processing to ensure that the input is processed at a steadier rate and avoiding mouse input events processing spikes.
• Fixed an issue where the Origin in-game overlay caused a negative impact on processing of the mouse input even if the overlay was not actually active.

@EA_Leeuw yeah there is still a delay for me. EA got me with the EA Games app, so I don't use Origin anymore. I guess I will have to fiddle more with the polling rate. So in comparison to BF1 and BFV, when I move my mouse, the cursor movement is instant. In BF2042, it lags a split second behind the movement, making me have to overcorrect, then I am dead.

By the way, the EA Games app says beta at the top when you first launch it. By how much it crashes, I would say that is a correct description.

@Adamonic, just out of curiosity; are you playing with the EA app overlay turned on, or off? And if you turn it off, do you notice a difference?

You're also not using any Extended Mags I assume?

@EA_Leeuw tried it both ways for EA app, no discernible difference. Negative on extended mags. It is all mouse movement regardless of weapon or gadget.

@Adamonic, gotcha, thanks for trying either way. Gonna keep an eye on it. If more reports come in, then we have something to pass on to the teams for further investigation.
