Not sure if I would call this map the worst map in the game, but only because there is still Hourglass and Breakway 128 that are both clearly worse than Flashpoint. But it is definitely among the worst maps we have now.
That statement is true for infantry that wants to PTFO and plays close the the flags, especially the 2 central flags. If you don't care about capturing flags but treat this map as a 'big TDM with flags', then I guess you can consider this map acceptable -- or even good, given you will always have some lemming PTFO players like us to shoot from the edges of the map.

I think it's kinda great but needs some tweaking, it's a very linear map but all the action is basically in 25% of the map, the whole side with the hole and the left is barely utilised and the waste land on the other side is just vehicle campers. A and G basically see zero action, B has a terrible flag layout and is never visisted same sorta for F, it's too secluded and too big for the few infantry that do fight over there.
I think the big mistake they made is that the hole is not the center piece of the map and that the reactor isn't a 2 part structure with a control room and a reactor underground with acces to the tunnel with the big hole.
