@klikard I remain cautiously optimistic, but I'm also a bit bummed-out because there will be no campaign.

4 years ago@ChugKendallI can understand that as many people would want a singleplayer campaign. I think they chose to focus everything on a good multiplayer experience this time around as that is what you basically will be playing in the end.
I suppose the short film they made is somewhat a alternative to a singleplayer campaign i am thinking.
- 4 years ago@klikard I can't play in a film, so that doesn't appeal to me. I would like to have a campaign. And if the reason there isn't one is because they are trying to make the best multiplayer experience ever, it had better be *mind-blowing,* with super-strong anti-cheat measures.

@ChugKendallFair enough you do have a point in that sense, and i can understand that. We'll have to wait until the beta or release, hopefully they have done lots of good things on that front.
Personally i don't care much for a singleplayer campaign but more for multiplayer. Mostly due to the fact the story in games usually is somewhat boring, there is only a few games that i have really liked the story mode of.
- 4 years ago@klikard In the early days of gaming, it was almost all single player, or split-screen, so I guess that's just what I prefer. I do enjoy Multiplayer, but the juvenile, vulgar and disrespectful players out there really ruin it for me, sometimes. That's why I like AI (bot) modes and lengthy campaigns; if things go sour in Multiplayer, I can always play with the bots--and they don't act silly, rude or childish.
