@CountSero ya this really pissed me off after spending like ten min in a "stairwell fight" on exposure, after just unlocking this, to find out all my shots were just absorbed....i also figured it out by shooting a ap36 after we pushed up, just to see it zapped. it was a wtf @#$*(&#@ moment lol.
but to be fair, ive shot the ground beside someone in cover and got a kill from the explosion (they must of been almost dead) so is it working as intended? like a grenade? does the ap36 zap underbarrel grenades? kinda the same thing in a way. just sucks to find out the hard way.

@GovntTookMyBaby i think DICE will say that is working as intended but for me the Explosive Bolts are not the same as a grenade launcher, grenade or missile.
And if you killed someone with shooting the ground you are really lucky^^ the person had to be really low. What i have recognised is that the splash damage from the bolt is so low and you need around 4-5 bolts on a enemy with full (this is only an estimate based on the life bar you can see before and after a splash)
@Adamonic if i find the time and don't forget this ^^ i will try the M5 against APS later this day.
@AngrySquid270 yes, the APS is specialised and imho already too powerful because it gets what around 99% of all grenades. (Without any cooldown!)
The explosive bold is far away from being overpowered, yes if you hit enemy, it is a kill but the rpm and the difficulty to hit a moving target at 50 to 100+ meters make it much less effective.
Now count in that you only have 10 bolts which are completely countered by the APS this bolt type is completely useless for attack \ defending a capture point.
So, in the end the Ghostmaker have only his standard bolts because the rack is also useless, the damage penalty this thing has is hilarious and make this absolute useless. In my opinion with the stats of these rack bolts it was a waste of time to create this thing.

- Adamonic4 years agoLegend@CountSero Yep I will try it today, very curious. I think I recall the M5 being immune to it.
