Are Battlefield 2042 and future (BF) titles pay to win?

I don't see a lot of people talking about this and I know it's quite a hot topic in other games. I'm curious to hear what everyone's opinions/thoughts are on this. The new K30 skin in particular righ...

@LlamaWithKatana Just because it's a lesser evil doesn't make it not evil or acceptable. BF2042 isn't F2P like Diablo nor does it have xpacs like Battlefield 4. If they were selling content in xpacs this would be a completely different story. Battlefront 2 was absolutely P2W at launch and all that does is make me even more sensitive toward this in BF games considering it's from DICE.

@xpaydayx I don't see it as p2w at all. It is slightly different sight but it is not better than what we have for free.

    I am going to have to go with @LlamaWithKatana on this one. I don't think the sight is anything better than what you already have available to you as a free-to-play player. Now, you might prefer the look of it over another but that is purely a cosmetic choice instead of a difference in game mechanics which causes it to actually be better. I've used it and am not overly impressed by it over all.

      @XSive_Drez I'm not a free to play player, I bought the game just like everyone else lol. The whole point is that game altering content is paywalled and that is P2W.

        @xpaydayx everyone has to pay for the game or have an subscription of ea play+ mate but have you bought the season pass?

        because there is a free to play part and the premium part.... (but hey I think you now this if you have “paid” for it… 😉

        also if they would sell DLC's would you buy it? or will this also be pay to win for you? because they hiding content behind a pay wall....
