@2c5e591fbf8739d8There's all sorts of stuff and it can be pretty cheap. I just saw an advertisement for the new Xim being released next year. Which isn't cheap, but It apparently has an "anti-recoil" feature built into as well. It was kinda scary how well it worked in the demonstration.
I'm pretty sure there's ways to see data and tools that developers could make to easily detect these things. However, are you going to start banning everyone using these devices? It's much easier and comfortable to ban people using software that actually changes files versus a macro.
What's the incentive for companies to start developing software and games to stop cheaters?
We have to voice our concerns, be willing to hold out on games that we think aren't doing enough. We also need to be willing to pay for it in some way and make it a priority. Not necessarily paying more for a game, but willing to have less features and updates at the cost of having a more fair game. Keep in mind the people making the cheats can also be very talented. It's a tough situation.
I think Dice with BF2042 have been doing an overall great job so far. Crossplay does feel off, and I do wish that we could get more insight into that though.
Getting constantly killed around corners, getting one show from ranges with guns that shouldn't one shot all by PC players. Then same pc players coming to the forums complaining of the same thing.
Yet never comprehend that if both sides are dealing with the same thing maybe its not the console nor the PC. That its a fundamental flaw with the servers, netcode and crossplay.
- RaginSam3 years agoSeasoned Ace@xXHappy_PuppyXx Of course the hit reg and net code are issues and are the obvious places to start to make the game feel better. That's not what this thread was about though. Plus, it's easy for us to point it out, but it's probably a huge task for the developers to improve. It's frustrating, but I can't name one online game that isn't. Honestly, for 128 players it's pretty damn good.
You can't deny that there's quite a few companies selling products that are specifically designed to reduce recoil. Xim, Cronus, and Strike packs are all very common devices. Look at how many review and comments there are on YouTube. Those devices are selling, so people are obviously using them. You can't be in denial about that.
I'm not sure why you're trying to deny those devices exist and that plenty of people are using them. That was the point of this thread.- xXHappy_PuppyXx3 years agoRising Ace@RaginSam Because it's no diffrent then PC hacking.. you know the multimillion dollar industry. That's so rampant that forum moderators ban the subject.
- RaginSam3 years agoSeasoned Ace@xXHappy_PuppyXx This thread isn’t about cheating on PC. Start another thread addressing that if you want. I’ve never once denied that people cheat on PC.
You’ve got a chip on your shoulder about PC vs console I think. PC players can use those devices as well. I’m just sharing what I know. Don’t take it so personally. People are sketchy on all platforms.

We are still to get proper fixing done to the game's mechanics, hit box registration, netcode optimization, etc... With the skeleton crew assigned to do all, its hard to see this getting the attention it needs/deserves any time soon. If ever...
