Are there going to be new Specialists? And if so, which ones?

Since Assault and Recon each have 4 Specialists, I can only assume that Support and Engineer are each getting one more. (Hopefully) Sometimes during a game I feel the need to switch character sinc...

It's looking like very little will be done after this season except weekly/monthly challenges and general game fixes and balances.

So the hope for new content rests on the next Battlefield huh ☹️ 2042 had a rough start but it turned out to be a overall good game

  It just seemed to take a cattle prod to get them steered in the right direction.

@sk1lld It was already confirmed no new content would come beyond season 7. So new specialists is out of the question.
All content we get is vault vehicles from portal
