I'm in the UK with a series s with crossplay off and just played a round of every AOW playlist as a little test just to see how things went. Every round the matchmaking lasted for less than 10 seconds and the lobbies were full. There is something not quite right with the matchmaking.

Can't say I've ever had any bother finding a server in AoW (Players board looks full) or Breakthrough, worst I've had is a handful of bots once to fill the space and been playing since VIP release. I have crossplay off and in the UK.
After another hour or so of sitting "waiting for players" finally got into a game....for it to crash 5 mins in
PS5. Every now and then it will take a bit longer to get into a match and say waiting on players. But never a problem finding a match. In Central US. That is on AOW but never can find a full server in Portal though. Sounds like this is more of an Xbox issue.
