During this test, my teammates and I shot at each other frequently, which wasn't a huge issue since there is obviously no friendly fire. However, due to this behavior, I did find myself occasionally caught off-guard with a half-empty mag when a legit target appeared shortly after such an incident. It's not a desirable situation.
I think this is occurring (at least from my perspective) because there is no difference in uniforms between players now. In previous franchise entries, if nametags were slow to pop up, players could identify targets based on uniform style. That doesn't appear to be the case any longer. It's very difficult to identify friends from foe when nametags take time to pop up and this potentially leads to precious time wasted having to reload to be prepared. Also, if friendly-fire HC modes are a thing in the future, this will obviously be a much bigger problem.
Since this tech test is old, a solution to target identification may already be in place but I'm concerned about this potential issue.
