Dear Battlefield 2042, During my play-time in the beta I couldn’t sprint because the Left analog stick on my controller doesn’t function at all I can only move but I cannot press to sprint so I was wondering in the actual release is there going to be an option to auto sprint like you have in the games like fortnite,warzone

@ghkllffddddd probably not going to be auto-sprint as sometimes players also what to move slowly and be sneaky.
Even tho if your left stick pressing (like L3) isn't working, there is another setting called "double tab forward to sprint" which you then could use instead. 🙂
Also buy a new controller, or try to fix the one which doesn't work. 😉

I always thought the game should have had auto sprint option and then hold shift or toggle shift to walk slow on pc.
On consoles I thought that pushing the stick all the way in should sprint and partway should walk slow.
Of course BF2042 now has a 3rd speed level - traversal sprint speed.
