@EA_IlliumA couple of classes in UI or GUI design will teach that this game has bad readability. Font is skinny in blurred/mushy background. The mainmenu is focusing on characters instead of flow of browsing categories. Sounds regarding menu is weird sounds that can blend in as noise in the music. Etc.
Edit: sound goes more under UX but still, it affects the GUI.

My biggest bug bear was the way the focus of the menu would switch from a top of screen to bottom of screen layout but the controls on the PS5 control wouldn’t adjust.
so for example, top menu layout, knuckle move main menu left right. Triggers move submenu left right. And that made sense x
However, in character / loadout screen mid game. The main menu bars are on the bottom of the screen.
whoch wouldn’t be so bad if the triggers switched as well I.e bottom triggers move bottom menu(loud out), knuckle triggers move specialist menu. But they don’t.
and to compound the issue, you can also use the D-pad and enter a substrate where you edit the loadout.
basically it’s a cluster bomb of a UI.
infact it made it so unpleasant to play the game this is one of 3 issues that I attribute to me uninstalling the game.
A) consider the fact that older people play your game and don’t have the dexterity to quickly make specialist and loadout changes with stupidly complex menus.
B) stick labels on the menu that reinforce the controller triggers, BF4 does this well.
c) menu navigation mid game is a time critical factor that can easily spoil a high intensity moment mid battle.d) I got so foffed entering the battle only to find I’d somehow selected some unwanted off spring of a meta loadout.
