WHAT'S UP WITH THESE * * BALLISTIC SHIELDS NOW? Never a problem before season 5, but now it's like they're a developers craft item that prolapses all the * of non-shielders. Straight * cheeks. The amount of explosive damage is absolutely ridiculous, I'm expecting to see them ankles/forehead enough during flinch to blast but nah, get bashed MF.
@Crinack91Shoot at their exposed feet. If they crouch as a result then you can easily outrun them.
If you see too many dozers, switch to incendiary grenade, he is not fire resistant.
If you play an engineer you can combo a rocket shot at the shield that makes Dozer flinch and follow-up with direct shots at the body/head
As well as the counters already mentioned here, you can counter cheese with cheese and defib kill him through the shield. Now I will admit that his mele range makes this hard, but it's not impossible. You do not need to fully charge the defibs. Just a quick zap will get him. Then feel free to add some seasoning to the kill with some speed-bagging.
I just got out of a game where I got 1HK'ed by a shield bash through a window, he was inside the house and I was on the outside by about 2m from the window, the wall around it was fully intact.
Shield is extremely OP right now.
Play a support specialist and just use defibs against them. If you can't kill them in a one on one (and one-hit-kill) melee fight, that's a skill issue.

Shoot at the legs or the sides (Duh)
Use incendiary grenades (kill it with fire!)
The main gun of the TOR railgun tank (parry this you freaking casual :D)
@RayD_O1Dozer went from being a basic soldier with explosion resistance and a gimmick that only worked when one is camping around a corner into an actual specialist.
