@StarSoft1I like the animations, it makes risk reward decisions needing to be made. Medics will likely have smoke which is vital to their job and non-medics rightly take longer bring squadmates up. I also like the animation of getting in and out of vehicles in BFV. It limits tank operators or at least makes it more risky for them to repair their own vehicles. BFV system is really good compared to BF4's silly way you can insta pop in and out of a vehicle to repair.
Same thing for knife animation. I think BFV got the variety of the melee weapon animation right. It is risk reward play, mostly risk because a kill is a kill, no need for style points but it definitely puts you in a vulnerable position to go into the melee animation.
BF offers good risk reward plays that can effect the game and the animations lend itself to that nature. How many times have you seen a squad try to cap an enemy rear flag and fail only to see the main battle line get pushed an extra point back? Only to never be able to re-cap it to get back to even and seal the loss. I have seen it go right a number of times as well also.
These are the kind of things that set BF games apart.
I have seen lots of things in Battlefield 3
