@CyberDyme How do we know there's 10,000?
I've been struggling to work out how large the player base is with only Steam to go off.
I was about to pick a PS5 copy up for £30, which I think is a fair price for the game.
But if it's tanking even harder than I thought then I'll hold out and see if I can get a bargain.

I wonder the same thing - where do they pull these player numbers from. I intentionally bought it from Origin because I prefer it over Steam. So I am not included in the Steam numbers. I play on PC on 64 player mode and TDM portal. I have yet to not be able to get in a game. Usually takes less than a minute to join a match. I do have cross play turned on. They can't base it solely on Steam. I'm quite certain I am not the only one that purchased it on Origin (which gets you around having to link your Steam account to Origin and cuts out the Steam middle man).
Xbox provides some insight into the game's popularity. BF2042 ranked #16 on Xbox when it first released. Now if ranks #36 one month later.
