Battlefield 2042 Crossplay I need to know before I pre-order.

I live in smaller region and I am forced to crossplay is there a opt out PC crossplay I've heard that this is not going to be an option is that true. I have a series X can I buy the Xbox One version ...

But can't I buy the Xbox One version and play it on backwards compatibility with my series X and just play the older version that should work right?

@snOOziieIt should, yes.

However I would also recommend you consider the Gold or Ultimate Editions of the game, since they both include the "cross-gen bundle" that will grant you access to both the XBox One and XBox S/X versions of the game in one purchase.
